Sunday Morning with Bean Dog and Nugget!...

Please join us on Sunday, May 19th at 11am for a special kids’ event at Bergen Street Comics.  Fashion Kitty writer and illustrator Charise Mericle Harper will be signing not one, but two new young readers’ books featuring new characters Bean Dog and Nugget.  In addition to great comics, plenty of cookies will be there for the taking, along with stickers and temporary tattoos.  You’ll even be able to make your own puppet!  We hope to see you there!

George O’Conner & Free Comic ...

Come celebrate Free Comic Book Day at Bergen Street Comics! Starting at noon this Saturday, May 4th, we’ll be giving away comics all day. But that’s not all! At 5pm, we’ll be welcoming George O’Connor, the cartoonist behind The Olympians. George will be drawing Poseidon live, and the art will be going home with one lucky fan! Refreshments? Of course!

Please join us on Thursday, April 4th, at 6pm as we toast the upcoming MoCCA Arts Festival with the UK’s best and brightest comics talent!  Publisher SelfMadeHero and artists Glyn Dillon, Rob Davis, JAKe, and Robert Sellers have hopped across the pond for the Festival, and will be gracing Bergen Street Comics with their presence for the night.  Comics and bubbly refreshments will be on hand.

Book Release Event for ARMY OF GOD...

Please join us on Saturday, March 16th for the release of Army of God: Joseph Kony’s War in Central Africa. Drawn from on-the-ground reporting by war correspondent David Axe and starkly illustrated by Tim Hamilton, Army of God is the first-ever graphic account of the global phenomenon surrounding Kony—from the devastation he has left behind to the long campaign to defeat him for good. Both David and Tim will be in attendance, and refreshments will be served. The event begins at 7:00 pm at Bergen Street Comics.
